Subject: Brian Gale is being hunted like a witch!
To Friends of Brian Gale:
I have been in medicine for over 20 years and have learned the hard way
about sham peer review, retaliation, unfair competition (by reporting
people to the State Board on trumped up charges) and the like. However,
Brian's case is one of the worst I've witnessed. To have competitors and
obvious enemies actually sit on the Board which "judges" (and I use the
word loosely here) Brian's medical care is ludicrous. In a sane world,
anyone with the conflicts present here would recuse themselves in a
hurry. Of course, when you can claim immunity via HCQIA and the various
state laws, who's scared? Obviously no one.
It's a clear tip off, when new charges are brought up just as the quarry
is about to beat the original allegations. That smells of witch hunt all
the way. It's VERY characteristic to see allegations metamorphosize from
one charge to another to another, as the victim of the charade mounts a
good defense against each one in turn. The outcome is foreordained. The
victim is SUPPOSED to lose, no matter what. So if one accusation doesn't
stick, just throw up another. There's no fairness in this type of
situation, only bad faith and malice. The way careers are ruined for the
sake of money and competitive edge is EVIL, pure and simple.
Hang on, Brian! Even if you're burned at the stake, there are folks
who'll back you when you rise from the ashes!
