No no no hang on a second...

You totally missed the purpose of Dr. Trench's proposal because you are thinking like a student instead of
understanding the plight of us out here in the real world. We can't just pick up and go to a new location like you
can. We have to run our practices. Dr. Trench has proposed a solution to the problem with our situation.
- (1) We
need more training.
- (2) We need more credentials.
- (3) We have a debt loaded practice.
- (4) We have a debt loaded home.
- (5) Our wife and kids have suffered too much already and don't want us to "start all over."
- (6) We can't get what we want from the establishment.
- (7) The malpractice insurance companies are now starting to kick
us out because of our "practice style." (meaning doing surgery without a PSR)
- (8) There are some really great
podiatric surgeons around who are willing to help but have been hog-tied by the establishment.
- (9) Staying where
we are allows us the possibility of working our way out of our financial situation.
We have already figured out the
small business part of the problem. Don't make me move if I don't have to.
But I have some questions:
-
Will hospitals and insurance companies recognize this new training?
- Will this program
ultimately lead to a competitive organization to the APMA?
- Could it compete?
- Will the best trained podiatrists
avoid this program so as not to anger the APMA and ACFAS?
-
