Notice of APMA Inquiry: From Brian to Supporters

I have now received official notice from Ron Lepow, DPM, President of the American Podiatric Medical Association that a Board of Inquiry has been formed to investigate the actions of the individual doctors who make up the North Dakota Board of Podiatry.

For those or you who are not familiar with the APMA, it is the largest and the main organization of Podiatrists in the United States consisting of approximately 10,000 members. See their web site for more information about the APMA  http://www.apma.org/

A vote was taken by the Board of the APMA to form a committee. The vote was positive and now the committee (Board of Inquiry) will be formed and begin to review the specifics of what has happened.

I don’t have any more information at this time however I was told by Dr. Lepow that someone would be contacting me this week.

There are other national organizations that are considering the possibility of an investigation as well.
