To Whom It May Concern:

I am writing you in regards to the unfair treatment of Dr. Brian Gale has been experiencing. I have been a patient of Dr. Gales even when he was working with Dr.  When Dr. Gale moved his practice to his own office I chose to continue under his care. One of the reasons I moved along with Dr. Gale was the fine and caring treatment I received from him, that I did not receive from Dr. X.

I have been very pleased with the results of the care that Dr. Gale has provided for me through the many foot problems that I have experienced through the years. Dr. Gale preformed surgery on one foot after trying many alternative procedures, the results were very excellent. When
we experienced a period of time when we were financially strapped Dr. Gale continued to see me as a patient even though we were not sure of  how we were going to pay him.

Now that we are doing health care in the community with clients that require foot care from a doctor we are seeing more and more of the problems that we had with Dr. X when I was under his care. I have had clients that have been very dissatisfied with Dr. X's care. Nurses that we
have worked beside have also expressed a deep dissatisfaction with Dr. X's care. We had one client that was told that his toe had to be amputated, and when the nurse argued with Dr. X about the change of care Dr. X refused to change his care. After a time the client asked that the care be changed even though Dr. X advised against it, the change saved the clients toe from amputation.

This is just one example of the many times we have experienced poor judgement from Dr. X. I have never experienced this problem with Dr. Gale, he has always been attentive to suggestions and willing to listen to ideas. When our young daughter developed heel pain Dr. Gale was very
attentive to her need and to her fear of doctors. She now looks forward to her visits with Dr. Gale and has improved greatly under his care. If we are forced to only have one foot doctor in this community many more patients like the one described above will suffer under the negligent care of Dr.X.
