Dear Governor Schafer: I have been an educator in the Mandan Public School system for the past 28 years. During that time one of my ultimate goals has been to influence my students and enhance their learning that they may develop into respectable and creditable individuals. It is my contention that the recent action of the North Dakota Board of Podiatry in restricting the surgical privileges of Dr. Brian Gale undermines these very goals that we should all be striving for. I am asking that you take the time to review the actions and creditability, as well as the makeup of this governing board. It would seem to me that this would be in the best interest of not only Dr. Gale but all residents of the State of North Dakota.
