Dear Dr. Sherman (editor of Podiatry ON-LINE www.smartfoot.com

I am writing to you on behalf of Dr. Brian Gale, I believe the action taken against him is unjust!!

My husband was hurt on the job 7 years ago both of the Dr's he went to before were either unable to help him or just didn't want to, the first Dr he had was just too busy and released him back to work before his foot was even healed, he was still in too much pain to work.

He than decided to go for a second opinion. He than went to Dr. X (name editied out), who was only concerned with his weight problem. His only form of treatment was shoes that my husband repeatedly told him weren't working for him and some inserts that he felt were ok, but didn't help with his pain...and the second form of his treatment was to loose weight, these were the only three types of treatment that he tried. Within the year that he went to him, my husband also carried a cane that Dr.X (name editied out) felt he did not need to use, he repeatedly mentioned this in his dr's report and he apparently gave workmans comp the same feeling, for our neighbors all around us told us that a detective came and talked to them, and asked if he was ever outside without his cane or if they saw him mowing the lawn, of course we had nothing to worry about because he could do neither of these things, no thanks to the dr's...

When I started having foot problems I didn't know which dr. to go to ( I didn't want to go to the same ones that he went to...) So I decided to go to Dr. Gale, my husband came with me to talk to him and see if he thought that he could help him, Dr. Gale said that he thought he could, so my husband changed dr's and has been more than happy that he did, Dr. Gale has helped him with his pain, through injections, shoes, and inserts, and has told him that he does need surgery to correct his problem, ( which my husband has been putting off for too long..) And has now decided to go ahead and have the surgery done,

which he will have to wait a little longer for now...

We have never been unhappy with any of dr. Gale's treatments, his main concern is for his patient and their well being.
