| 4/13/2000 Today, Governor Schafer gave me the opportunity to meet with him and discuss the problems that I have been experiencing with the Board. I was extremely impressed by the candor of the Governor. I appreciated his kindness, as well as his polite and understanding mannerisms. There is no doubt in my mind that Governor Schafer is familiar with the information on our web site. He asked me some very specific questions that I gladly answered in detail for him and I believe to his satisfaction. I don't know if he can or will take any action, but I believe the Governor was sincere. I know that I now believe more than ever that the Governor and his attorney have not had any knowledge of the wrongful actions the Board has taken. I would like to thank the Governor for taking the time to meet with me and I believe that this was a positive step towards resolving this terrible nightmare that my family and I have been experiencing. I would also like to once again thank all of my incredibly dedicated and wonderful patients, friends, colleagues and family members who have supported me. And no one has done more to help me to keep going through all of this than my wife, Tami. Thank you.
