These are the members of the Committee who are going to be hearing the testimony and making the initial decisions and amendments if any on 1377. I suggest that all of you please email them and call and write them. We have about a week or so before the actual hearing because it hasn't been scheduled yet. 

Please let them know that we are not in favor of this and we believe the problems with the Podiatry Board are that the Board members need to be changed. Bill 1262 has been amended so that it provides for term limits but doesn't make it retroactive. It must be retroactive or the current board members who have been on the board for 8 years will get another 8 years. If the retroactive amendment doesn't take place it will be at least 3 years if not 8 before we can change any of the board members. All of the Podiatrists will be gone from this state except the Board members by then. The individual email addresses, regular mail addresses and phone #'s can be found at the following web site. Just scroll down and look for this committee. Please help us get this done. This is our one and only opportunity to make the changes necessary to correct the problems with the Podiatry Board.
